Here comes the sun

Our topic this term is 'Here comes the Sun'. We are looking at contrasting locations and finding similarities and differences between them. We have looked at villages and cities in Kenya and compared them to our local area. We even met a teacher who had spent time teaching there and told us what life was like in a Kenyan school. Later this term we will visit Snuff Mills to explore our local countryside.

Moon Buggies

Last term as part of our topic we designed and made moon buggies. We looked at the moon buggy that Neil Armstrong used on his space mission, then thought about what a good buggy would need to help us with our designs. Here are some of the results, they are pretty amazing...
